EXPLORATION OF NATURE AND SELF
SUMMER 2023
This Super 8 Film was made as part of my residency at Horniman Museum and Gardens in Summer 2023. This film was made in the Horniman’s Nature Trail, an adjacent space to the Museum and Gardens.
Formally a train line that crossed through SE London in the 19th Century, this space is now unkept and has been reclaimed by nature. The path through the Nature Trail is a straight line that echos its previous identity.
I spent a lot of time here during my residency processing my thoughts and exploring the unkept and I have edited two short films together to make a longer exploration of Super 8 films, this is my first exploration into this medium.
